Life is a Beach

You know, I don't think there's anybody who appreciates living in Hawaii more than a 5 year old child at the beach. This is a picture of my step-daughter Jasmine concentrating on spelling her name correctly in the sand during our recent weekend visit to White Plains beach.

I say it's the kids who appreciate the beach most, (and they do love it when we go), but now that I think about it, there's probably not many ways that I'd rather spend a Sunday afternoon, than sitting in my chair at the beach with my camera ... getting a tan and snapping pictures of my kids.

Life really is a Beach ... if you let it be.

Aloha,
Todd

  2. Hi Lin,

Oh yea, Hawaii is a great place for a nice vacation. I'll be happy to give you some suggestions ... and if you make it over here before my good uncle sam, decides it's time for me to see someplace new, I'll have to buy you a cup of coffee :-)

    Talk to you again soon,

  4. Hi Kalei,

I guess I was lucky (or unlucky, depending on your perspective) ... when I lived here as a kid I was only in elementary school ... so no skipping for me. We did however, spend literally every Sunday boogie boarding and bbqing out at Bellows. Ah, those were the days.

  6. Hi Erin,

I've been fortunate, the times that I've been here have all been through the military. I'll be perfectly honest, I'm not really an expert on moving to Hawaii. Do you have a job lined up already? What are you planning to do once you get here?

As I said, I'm not an expert, but if you give me a little more info, I'll be happy to help as much as I can.
